I *LIKE* that! It'd make a great "hidden" pocket message (like the Salt shaker inside the pocket of our Hill Slug jerseys).

If you use it, you might want to check with one of the chemists on the board to verify that I grabbed the right symbol. We think I did (actually DH is the source), but it could turn out like people who get tatoos of chinese characters only to find out that they don't mean what they think :p
I've noticed that jerseys made for men with elastics don't fit me so good, but when they are styled for women, the jersey ends up looking good and staying where it belongs with that elastic on it.
I vote for hi-viz and no elastic. Is it possible to make both versions - elastic and non-elastic?
Ladies, thanks for the feedback. A couple of comments:
I expect this will be a 3/4 hidden zip, no elastic jersey. Hidden zips work best with a graphic design, as they don't "chop" the image in half. There's very little out there in full-length hidden zip, so we'll need to do 3/4.
Also, as much as I understand that some folks like hi-viz safety yellow, that's not really the direction we're looking to go in.
Susan
I suspect Susan has some pretty good stats about what kind of jerseys sell best. ;)
Bonus points for designs that won't be distorted or shaded by boobs (even small ones)...
Thanks, I was able to open the Illustrator 8 link fine. Don't know why the CS2 version doesn't work for me (I have both CS2 and CS3). The pdf version works as well.
Mimi- I would really like to see you try your hand at something with that painting.
Eden- I really like your first entry, did you say you are working on another? I didn't know you had hidden talent like that!
Eden and Bat
I like your designs a lot.
I'd love to see Bat's design w/different color choices (black background but w/other neon colors around the estrogren).
I'm too much of a Luddite to figure out how to make & submit my own design! :p
I need some artistic help! I know what I want to put on the jersey but I can't draw it.
I'd like to make a jersey with an international theme :)
So far, of all the jerseys shown, i like the last one of Eden's the best, because it's sort of colorful. I realize there is a giant difference between the younger generation and mine in terms of color. I like it bright; and particularly on a bike. Those muted tones do nothing for me.
Oooh, I love Eden's second submission with the green jersey! I'd totally buy that!
Someone is going to have to choose one?
Great job ladies. I can't load my Illustrator program now, but loving your submissions. Eden love your colors.
Love Eden's green and white one. Black along the sides is also very "slimming".
you can see why she's a graphic designer!! amazing job -
Eden, can you try out some brighter color designs maybe- purples, reds, turquoise etc. or maybe with fairly large stylized icons for weather perhaps like you see on TV weather forecasts- the cloud, the sunshine, the showers icons, I think would be cool.. I wish I had the skills to put together stuff like you are doing!!
I love that! The morse code and estrogen diagram...I was thinking that would make a great design on a jersey. Well done!!!
Gray
I LOVE them ALL!!
We decided here at the shop that since our Sugoi jerseys arent selling we are going to just design a few different shop jerseys and carry them instead..
I think I might need to hire some of you!
WOW!!
Not an artistic molecule in my body, but I am enjoying these talented submissions!!!
I like the color blending from blue into orange into tan, and the color blending on the other side of the jersey as well. I love the incorporation of the TE women figures: bike, run, swim, yoga. This one just has instant appeal to me.
I'm not posting mine until the last minute so no one can steal my genius :D;)
if I ever get started
Is there a deadline?
TTaylor- Both of yours are good but I am really liking the first one. Jeez we have some talented women.
I am creative but have no ability to do things with the computer. This is such a cool idea. I wish we did not have to vote for one because they are great. Keep up the great work everyone!
