I would really love to see an Armadillo before I leave the USA. Ooops sorry was that Amarillo....perhaps I could see an Armadillo in Amarillo.:D

LOL - for awhile when we first got to the States all the wildlife we saw was squished. The first thing my little boys would ask me on returning from a ride was 'what did you see squished on the road today mum'?
Im happy to say since then we have seen lots of live wildlife. Hmm perhaps I still have time to see an Armadillo.:D
So now we have "OT Australia" and "OT Texas"? :D
Dinner tonite? Gee, I dunno.
I have no idea.
Probably just a baked potato and some cheese.
Dar, I'd be happy to make you some chicken soup!
Those teeny weeny hawks that kill the pigeons downtown are called kestrels.
Should Violette be renamed Pandora?

Ya can't leave the crazycanuck out..:D

Hey we saw not one but TWO pelicans sitting on a freeway lamp post the other day
I've not seen many creatures lately..perhaps that's a good thing...

I am too busy to post in yet another drifting thread this week, but I AM here!!! :D
OMG! FOUR TDs!!! This one wasn't even there yesterday when I logged off, and today it's already up to 4 pages  When will I ever find time to get out on my bike now?
Today's after-work plan is to give RubySlipperz and Big Red their Spring cleanings, including changing Big Red's pedals to semi-clipless (one side platform) and maybe even giving per a new saddle (if I find a good one at the LBS on my way home). Forecast for tomorrow is rain, but forecast for Saturday is sunny again. Now if I can just get myself off the net long enough for a ride on Saturday, I'll have something to post about when I get home. :o
Cool picture of the herons T!
Coffee time. :)
I've pretty much been living on Frosties since Monday. I just don't feel like eating ANYthing -- not even my homemade gluten-free chicken noodle soup.
Mmmmm! Frosties! Vanilla or Chocolate? The vanilla ones are new here but I think the original ones are best. :)
I like pie.
Mmmm, chocolate.
Hmm... haven't heard from X or Kit... should we start calling jails in the Reno area? Or do you think they're visiting the "ranches" of Reno :p
Woop. Found X and Kit in TD: Oz.. Man, gotta keep up with all these :)
Oooo...
Frosties and french fries (dipped, of course, in the Frostie).
The breakfast of champions!! :D
Mmmmmm....
Frosties are actualy health food. Very low fat as I recall.
Oh good Lord - not another TD! Say it isn't so...
We had boiled crawfish last night. Ohhhhhhh so yummy!
And a frosty must be lowfat. How do you like the vanilla one?
4 td's? I only know about 3!
eeek.
It is so beautiful outside i didn't need a coat!
I got so behind on the other TD's that I became overwhelmed by the amount of reading I would have to do to catch up.
This one is still quite manageable.
Must find a frosty.....
ETA: crawfish??? Yum!!!!!
We're going to drop the kiddies off at the grandparents and get a sack of crawfish to boil (that's approx 35 lbs) and eat and eat and eat for our anniversary. Well, we won't eat toooooo much! :p
I'm buried in data analyses. bleh
Seriously - 35 pounds???? That's almost enough crawfish for me. Almost.
You know how I eat! We had 10 lbs last night and it was gone in a flash!
The two of us could do some serious damage at an all -you-can eat place!
Yeah, they'd lose money on us.
I have a nice new chair in my office. It's one of those mesh-backed chairs with a cushy leather seat. Nice!
New pup comes home tomorrow :) We've warned the cats!
There's something that makes me giggle when I see the students here at work mowing with a bee veil on. It just looks silly.
What's the new pup's name??
Name of new pup - Cassi (short for Cassiopiea - the constellation). I am going to spend most of tomorrow picking up the kids toys so Cassi won't eat them!
Trekhawk - Gasp... crawfish (crayfish) are part of louisiana culture! They are similar to what you might know as a yabby? BTW - do you know what a yabby pump is? I used one extensively as a grad student (actually I have my own). Here's a link with all sorts of info on crawfish: http://www.crawfish.org/home.htm
Crawfish etouffe - YUM!! Gosh, thinking about food is the last thing I need.
Cassi is a great name! Nice constallation, too.
TH - you would like crawfish, I am sure. Do you like lobster? Very similar.
I have Nestle treasures creamy caramel in my office. Dangerous!
