*rubs hands together and chuckles*
Ah, another long distance rider added to the fold!
And all the other snails said..."Amen!"
;)
Awesome! When is your next one?
Wow - that's just fantastic!
Congratulations. (Your grandkids should be VERY proud!)
CONGRATS!!! :D
The route description said "flat to moderate hills," so keeping the average you did sounds great to me!
I second Boy in a Kilt's suggestion to do some light exercise tomorrow. Even though it seems counterintuitive, I've found that when I'm really sore the day after a big effort, if I do something like yoga it really helps alleviate the soreness a lot quicker.
i did 100 yesterday, maybe 101 inc going to the hq and back to the start!!!rained with us too, horrid isnt it,didnt realise until i stopped for a pee and had to drag on a wet soggy skinsuit,im weary today, treid swimming for an hour to losen meself up,no avail!so i suggest you also do what im going to do,a quick spin on the bike to get some of the blood going and doing its repair work,i couldnt sleep after could you?
Wowzers, Sandy! 100.2 with an avg of 13.7??? You did GRRRRREAT!!! You should be proud of your effort, of the distance, of your avg and for getting out there and being such a positive role model for your grandkiddos!
Congrats and give yourself a HUGE pat on the back from all of us!!! :D
Assmasher... HA! (giggles because that's what it looks like to me, too Zen :p )
Hellosunshine- congrats on your hundred miles, too! Way to go!!!! :)
WOO-HOO! I'm five years behind you and I still haven't done a 100-mile century. I've done a few metric centuries, but have yet to do the 100 miles. You absolutely ROCK! (Tell your grandkids we said that! :D )
And I second the suggestion to do a gentle yoga practice--really helps with recovery!
Now...time to start thinking about which century you'll do next.
Congrats on your accomplishment.
Makes ya feel good, don't it.
Congratulations on your century.:D Such a confidence builder knowing you can actually travel 100 miles in one day. Yea superwoman!
You rock, Sandy !
Absolutely outstanding! Way to go!
I'm with the chorus of folks who thinks that 13.7 mph is admirable for a 100 mile ride! I hope I can do as well!
Great job! You must be so proud of yourself! You should be! :D :) :D :)
Your speed sounds more than respectable to me!
Way to go! :) I'd take 13.7 for 100 miles. 100 miles is nothing to downplay!
Yaaaaaayyy!!!!! :d
