Sorry about the ouchie. You will need to cover to wear clothing, esp when it gets oozie. But it's a good excuse to wear boxers around the house.
Thats gotta hurt!! Hope you have a quick recovery-with no scars.
I am so sorry to hear about your crash. Hmmm, there seem to have been several lately, and I feel like I started it all with mine, 4 weeks ago.:(
I had to try several things because once the pads stick to the wounds and you have to tear them off, ugh, I had a few mornings in tears trying to get them off. I used the Tegaderm with the non-stick pads and I got SICK of the tape. So what we did was over the Tegaderm we used the nonstick gauze pad and bought those ace bandages that stick to themselves....it was a LIFE saver, for the road rash on my arm and leg/knee anyway. It also saved some money, that tape gets expensive after awhile, not to mention the pain of tearing it off all the time~
I hope you heal fast, I'm just know if the "itchy, scratchy, scab stage....nice I know!
Ooh, Mr Silver. Sorry to hear about your crash and hope you are feeling better and heal soon.
Sorry about your crash. Take good care of your wounds, and keep them clean
(make sure you got all the grit out). Not to scare you, but a friend/co-worker/fellow biker got MRSA. The Dr. told him he sees it often in cyclist. Scary huh?
Oh poor you Mr. Silver....I am sorry hear about your wipe out, however, happy to hear you did not break anything and you just have to deal with the road rash which as you know by now is a real pain in itself.
Take care ~ JoAnn
Mr. Silver - heal fast! If you decide not to take Lisa's advice, you could opt for elastic netting over the spenco moist bandages:

It's great stuff - every cyclist should have it.
How's the road rash doing today?
Sounds like time for a good book or movie and some couch time.
Feel better.
Nope, I'm resolved that this is not going to slow me down!:D
