Oh no, Trust me... "Speedo Jesus" is alive and well. At least in my town. He's some of the "local flavor" (that doesn't sound right) around here. If there is more than one...what lucky ladies we are am I right? :p *said sarcastically* As long as there is no "Thong Jesus" we can all breathe a little easier.
And yeah, Zen : Moby "Duck"
I didn't think about that being censored for some reason. Makes sense. :)
Oh but there is..... this is the guy I was originally thinking about - http://www.tampabay.com/features/hum...o-hide/1019825
I believe this fellow is alive and well. My search the other day actually lead me to a different and infamous thong cyclist..... (who had committed suicide). Yours may be an entirely different one yet - as he appears to be a speedo wearer and the other two were thong men.
Ha! There is more than one.
"Speedo Jesus" resides in the Midwest is very skinny, 40ish, with long curly hair and a moustache, usually seen in a dark colored speedo.
It's sort of a matter of pride around here, if you've seen him or not. If not, you are regaled with tales of his spottings. Like he's "Nessie" or something. :D
As for the "Thong Jesus" (or plural of that) -
I'm sure there are people of all types who enjoy the bicycle. :o
Saw this a couple days ago, it was just above freezing but I stopped and dug out my camera for a photo.

A rescue attempt gone horribly wrong?
My guess is that fish was swiped from a backyard pond by a bird who couldn't hold on to it.
Melalvai, lol.
I found 3 rolls of toilet paper that was chucked from a car. But it's not near the toilet that met the same fate.
Also-- a console t.v. and couch.
I saw an onion. But i didn't pick it up. Figured it was bruised.
I don't know why, but that fish is making me giggle. Even though he did lose his life...
Pam
I used to live in coastal town with a large commercial fishing port. One day (while not on my bike), walking back to my apartment in a house nestled among the processing plants (lovely neighborhood ), a herring fell out of the sky and landed with a <<SPLAT!>> not far from me. I suspect some poor gull lost his dinner, but it was pretty funny.
Happily or not, I haven't found anything interesting on rides lately. I did find a $5 in the pocket of my pants I packed in my pannier this morning, tho'. That was pretty cool.
And Pfunk12, I am beginning to realize, finds trouble on lots of her rides! ;)
I saw a group of men with guns. They were in a slightly isolated location under a highway overpass. Few people other than bikers would see them.
I'm sure they were plainclothes cops. Still, after I got home I worried about seeing news of an audacious group of criminals who got suited up to commit their crime as bikers whizzed merrily past them
raindrops. lots of them. They were wet.
two days ago, my DH found 26 dollars (a 20, a 5 and a 1) on his way to work.
So last night when he passed up a 5 dollar bill, I quickly snatched it up "STOPPING!" i yelled. He thought it was fake money. :D
