Today I took my last ride of 2010. After being sick for several weeks, I'm SERIOUSLY out of shape. The weather couldn't have been better, though (68 degrees!) and I had one of the happiest rides I can remember. Happy New Year's everybody!!!:D

1,827 miles as of today :D
This time a year ago I had only taken one little riding attempt in a parking lot to see if I could actually ride my new bike - having no idea if I COULD ride but really wanted to learn - so therefore I did. I've come a long way baby, even with the lingering injuries since Sept that has kept me off the bike.
2561 on my Garmin that I've had since June. I figure I do about 5-6K per year total. (I rarely drive)
OMG. Congratulations ladies, thats great.
Congrats on your miles! Well done!
Mine, not impressive...been an interesting year:
2007: 826
2008: 4,049
2009: 2,859
2010: 870
Goal for '11: 3,000
3674, for 2010 as of 1 hour ago.
Celebrated my last ride of the year: a chilly 15 miles to Saguaro National Park and back from my house in 42 degree temps! (that's practically unheard of for a daytime high in Tucson)
2355 for me this year. That is like biking from Salt Lake City to Boston. Yahoo!
The lowest to dare post at 774 miles total. Less than I'd hoped, but this year we fixed up our house to sell, sold it, and moved; plus took two trips to Belize, so it was busy and crazy. And NC had the hottest summer on record followed by the coldest December, so I just didn't get out as much as I would have liked. Still, I really enjoyed my shorter rides this year, and I'm not complaining! Got out for 12.3 miles today all over Chapel Hill, which was great fun on this 60 degree NY's Eve! Gotta love it! :D
My goal for 2011 is 3,500 miles. I think I can do it if I start riding again consistently by end of February/early March + more commuting. And I'd like to do 2 centuries this year.
3,292 miles! :D :D I am very happy with that. My goal was 3000, so I am a bit over. It was 60 degrees today where I live and DH and I had one last wonderful 25 miler. There was melting snow by the sides of the road (and water on the road) so had to clean the bike afterwards. Oh, and one of my shifter cables broke just as we were starting. DH had it fixed in 20 minutes and we were back on the road!
I have some big ride plans for 2011, including a metric in April, a century in May, and Bike Tour of Colorado in June. Maybe even will try to get some miles on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Happy New Year to all TE members! Have a great and SAFE cycling year.
3513.5 + 1000.3 miles of running. Not shabby for a girl who just got her bike in Nov. '09. :D
160 rides for 3,964 miles.
93 of those rides were commutes (round trip).
And about 150 miles jogging.
I need to remember to track my miles more closely. I am having to guess at around 2500 miles for 2010. I would like to hit 4,000 this year but realistically I think 3500 is more reasonable given my lack of time. I commute but I live pretty close so I don't rack up as many miles as I used to. I like to think those short miles count for more b/c they are sooooo much hillier than they used to be :). I'm a little peeved that I have clinic on Saturday this spring semester and my group is one of two groups that were assigned saturdays:( Oh well I'm sure we all have our obstacles to deal with, I don't want to let it stop me from reaching my goal of 3500 miles. I haven't counted any trainer or spin classes, do you all count that on your miles?:D BTW, Happy New Year girls I always enjoy our shared stories throughout the year:D:D:D
