King Titanium cages are 28 grams. I don't know if that is lighter than carbon or not though.

Like the pros do - actually, the domestiques: stuff them in the back of your jersey.
I doubt there is anything lighter than carbon (except the back pocket, as mentioned earlier). Token makes a sleek ultralight cage at 18 grams each. They look flimsy but are surprisingly strong. My BF has used his for a whole season with no issues.
I say, if you feel you need something lighter then carbon-work a little harder to make your legs that little bit stronger. A little sweat won't hurt.
When it comes to the small details, weight has nothing to do with performance. :rolleyes:

My reason I put this post here, one of the raceteam guy's where teasing me with the carbon cages. So I will have to check what he has on his bike, I will let you girl's know... I am sure he is just a bigmouth and want's to make him more important...there are some people out there they are very jugemental what you wear, have and so on...I have been mountainbiking for many many years, and I started road biking a couple of years ago, and I realy don't care if I have full carbon that or this, the most important thing for me is "having fun biking"!So thank's for all the post, there are some funny one...
