I can't seem to find recipes..most recipes are using tinned sardines. Help.

I love sardines. Just broil them, a bit of lemon... miam! I'll do some next week I think.

Can you believe this...I pan-fried a sardine ..and forgot to gut the fish. So I chewed away..and realized...oops. :rolleyes:
Oh, well....it wasn't much inside a small fish that had to be discarded. I guess I was thinking they were like smelts.
I ate the rest of the little fish.
Will try the lemon broiled thing next time.
I once had filets, made into little roulades, I believe there were pinenuts in it. Then pan-fried crispy. Very nice. Surely you could add some greens such as rucola to the inside, it was italian-style.
I'm getting hungry.
