I posted in the commuter section a month ago that I might buy an old Triumph (Raleigh) three-speed, but the man decided not to sell her.:( But NOW I found a beautiful 1962 Schwinn Traveler and I am getting her!!! She is one year older than me (hee hee). I may not get her for a couple weeks but in the meanwhile her current owner sent pictures for me to drool over. I am so excited!!!

You are going to have so much fun with that! Those old/new bikes are great! Congrats. I scored an old Schwinn, although not nearly in as good of shape as yours, but I loved that thing. The seat was just like yours and I found it to be very comfortable when I rode around town.

the generator itself may just have a minor problem, wiring or bulb or something simple (just keep saying that).
see what your LBS has to say. My LBS is going to see if they can repair/rewire mine.
