I hear ya about getting the second foot clipped in.
A strange thing has been happening with my Looks lately. I'm getting braver in attempting higher traffic areas, and when I unclip my left but just rest it on the pedal approaching potential stops, if I don't need to put my foot down, when I try to snap it back in (I'm resting it on the correct side, you'd think I just step into it like normal, right?) I can't. Sometimes I have to take the foot off totally and start from scratch. Other times, I can't get it in in about the 3 o'clock position like normal, but I put it down to 6 and really stand on it and wiggle my foot around for it to go. I don't really like having to jump around on one pedal for balance purposes. Any clues why it happens? It has happened when starting from a stop, but usually when the cleat has gotten dirty (like if I need to pull over to the shoulder on the narrow multiuse trail to stop to be out of the way), and even then, it's pretty rare.
