Worldwide Ride of Silence
The Ride of Silence is FREE bicycle ride that honors cyclists who’ve been injured or killed by motorists, to help raise awareness of cyclist’s rights, and to let motorists and the public know to please SHARE the ROAD with us. They are approx. 12 miles long and ridden no faster than 12 MPH.

Rides will take place worldwide on May 20th, 2009. (299 held last year on May 21st, in 18 countries)

The Battle Creek MI Ride starts at Getaway Sports, located at 636 Capital Ave.
The Grand Rapids MI Ride starts at Riverside Park on Monroe Ave, Island Shelter entrance.
The Holland MI Ride starts at the Holland Civic Center on W 8th St.
The Kalamazoo MI Ride starts at W. Michigan University parking lot #10.
The Spring Lake MI Ride starts at Central Park.
Rides of Silences will be held in 23 other MI locations this evening

All Rides starts promptly at 7:00 PM, please arrive by 6:30.
Red & Black arm bands will be provided.
Helmets are Mandatory
