Last year I raced a 24-hours of Adrenalin on a 5-person co-ed team. There were 4 guys and me. I had a great time! It was one of my best experiences on a bike.
They're doing some preliminary planning for this year's race and I'm trying to decide between 3 choices. Anybody have any suggestions?
A. Ride on the same team as last year. We had great chemistry and we did pretty well in our class. There was no bickering or arguing or any little drama fits. It was great.
B. Ride on a 5-person women's team. The problem here is that there are only 2 women committed. I would be the third. I don't know who the last two will be. I probably won't get to do as many laps on this team because over-all the team will probably be slower than my co-ed team from last year.
C. Solo... Last year I did 4 laps (11 miles per lap) and I know I could have done more. I'm not saying I could do 15 solo, but I'd be happy with maybe 10. This would take quite a bit more training. Maybe this isn't a real possibility this year. Maybe next year.
Any ideas?
