Wow. I just completed a 600k. I am super shivery and cold and waiting for my bacon double cheesburger to be brought to me. :D

Anyway, I think the total ride time was 35 hours, 40 minutes (out of a 40 hour limit) and my ride time was about 28:45. I slept about 45 minutes in a communal motel room with some friends.

Need to eat. Will report tomorrow.

HUGE thank yous go to Nanci who advsied, encouraged, was supportive and put up with my dozens of questions about this event!!

What an accomplishment! You should be *very* proud!

Once you're well fueled and rested, I'd love to hear more about it - esp your training tips (just took a job, so the long rides will have to be relegated to weekends - though I'm considering the 4:45 ride time suggestion offered in another thread;)).

Holy mackerel! Big fat huge kudos to you! I feel like arnaew--so proud of you I could spit, and I don't even know you! I'm just impressed to know someone who can complete such a ride--and survive!:D

Hope you enjoyed that well-deserved cheeseburger and, I thinking, plenty of R&R.

Does a triple double metric make that a "cheeseburger, cheeseburger, cheeseburger" day?

To think, MP, you could have stayed home and watched the Princess Bride on TV yesterday afternoon. The "to the pain" scene must have been on just as you were on your last 200k. I'll take a little credit for sending good vibes to you. :D

I am stunned and overwhelmed by the wonderful and supportive responses you guys are posting here. You are an amazing and loving group of women.

Yes, it was quite literally the best bacon cheeseburger I have EVER had.

A ride report will come later today. It will be long, but not as long as the ride...

Hi MP- Congrats to you! EXCELLENT job! Amazing what we can do and your endurance is truly remarkable. I too was thinking of you Saturday and hoping you would finish! AND you did it well below the cut off time.

What I'd be interested in knowing is how you did food wise, what you discovered about brevets, how you are doing now, and what it was like to be on your bike for such a long time.

I'll be Homey will be proud of you too!

Keep us posted!
