Of them cycling with the beautiful pair of red boots or shoes? I have been trying to find company that made those boots for hours, since the store here that used to carry them no longer does. I have searched and searched and searched the forum but I can't remember the context of the photo and can't find it anywhere! Maybe it's all in my head...
And if that doesn't ring a bell to anyone else, are there any good suggestions for cute-yet-practical black boots? I don't really wear heels and I'm not looking for anything too dressy.
Thanks!

Have you tried searching on Zappos for" red boots"? You can narrow your search too with heel height & other options. I love shoes!

It wasn't specifically the red boots I wanted, I just remember that I loved all of the shoes on that mystery company's website. I have a Zappos gift card though - that's what sparked my memory!
(They weren't cycling boots...just very pretty casual ones!)

Maybe you should call for people who ride platform pedals then?
I can think of one or two...:)
I don't even know if whoever it was always rides platforms or not though! :(
Seems as though it was a photo on their mixte or some other casual bike.
I probably ought to just give up. I wish I could remember how this came up.

I'm currently coveting these (http://dansko.com/Womens/Footwear/Styles/Boots/Rylan/Brown%20Full%20Grain/). They have a heel - but they're super comfy (for me). I bet Zappos has them.....

omg her boots match her bike perfectly!
I like those Danskos but I just don't know if I can wear heels anymore...but they have some other cute ones too. Hmm. :D
For some reason I'm thinking whoever posted the original photo had some Spanish or Italian company (that's were cute but impossible for me to wear as well)

I've been surprised with that foot bed from Dansko. I can't wear heels. Can't - am in pain after 10 minutes. But those - I'm good for hours - even standing. They can be a little tricky to walk in (because they don't conform to stones, etc - since they're wooden). But seriously comfortable. Of course YMMV.

I posted a pic of these red boots a while ago, so maybe it was me.

It's the posture change, not my feet :( Maybe if I don't have to walk in them... (don't enable me!! haha) :p
redrhodie those are CUTE! I had your name in my head but kept searching and never found a photo, I bet those were what I was thinking of!! Hmm...off to shop some more...
And I also checked out art shoes (http://www.the-art-company.com/autumn-winter-2011-woman-wall.html) because I had some once upon a time. I don't think they're very easy to find in the states but I pretty much love everything they make...
Alright I've gotta snap out of it and work!!

Why oh why did I have to click on the Art shoe link? Must not look. at beautiful shoes.
Oh, and for El Naturalista, keep checking Endless and 6pm, as they go on sale often, but sometimes only for a day.

last post, I promise...redrhodie, those were DEFINITELY the ones I was thinking of. I was afraid I'd gotten your name in my head simply b/c the boots were red. I'm bookmarking their site now.
thanks again! I can't believe this post worked :)

Glad I could help enable another shoe shoe addict! :D
The latest brand I'm coveting, which I've yet to see in person, is Vintage Shoe Co. Made in USA, really gorgeous (but more than I can spend right now).

I love the "Jennifer" which used to be called Tanker boots.

I just went to google.com/images and typed in bicycle red high heels and there were all sorts of bicycle and red shoe combination images.

Which ones are you getting? I highly recommend their clogs as well. So comfy.
edit: be sure you treat their shoes before wearing! I use mink oil, but you can get a wax that works great (I think it's by Dansko). They will satin if they get wet, since they're vegetable dyes. I found this out the hard way.

I got the Inuit boots - the taller ones. I couldn't tell from the reviews how the sizing ran so I hope they fit (there aren't any larger ones available!)
Thanks for the advice, too. They're bound to get wet here, especially when it snows. I'm so glad I live somewhere I can pretty much live in boots though!

Those are hella cute!
I have near-knee-high El Naturalista boots (although they are black) and they are amazingly comfortable. I did spray them before wearing in the Vancouver drizzle.
