Hi everyone,
I know you may be saying hi to a lot of us newbies daily but I just want to say hi up front so you'll know I did try to introduce myself.
My given name is Cheryl. I have been and always be an exerciser but sometimes the summer makes me a *fairweather* exerciser. We don't have air conditioning so I don't exercise in the house nor do I go to a gym. Therefore, I gave myself the name *fairweather* :)
So, I got the riding itch in my genes and I'm anxious to get going. I'd like to meet up with women and go riding like people do with their kayaks.
I learned to ride at the age of 12 and have scars to this day on my knees to prove my learning journey.
I'm a big girl now, all of 164 pounds and 44 years later.
I am looking at a specialized ariel. I don't know beans hamburg or doodle about what is a okay I just don't want my ischium to hurt for too long.
From what the man in the bike store told me, the saddles that are more thinner in front, are a better saddle then the ones that to me, the cushy ones aren't really for distance and they don't hold up.
Please let me know your thoughts on the saddle so I choose wisely and not on how soft it feels.
