...to falls. :o
Took me 647 miles before I had my first clipless pedal fall with "Oby". Granted, ~450 of those were indoors on the trainer. Got my left foot out and my brakes caught before I was into my lean and I ended up leaning right to land on grass/dirt, rather than asphalt...d'oh! Hope none of the neighbors got that on video...

It's basically a rite of passage, so I wouldn't worry about it:)...esp as you are (gratefully) ok.

I fell a couple of times years ago on a clunky mountain bike with cheap SPDs. I figured I was in the clear in this biking life. You know what they say about pride going before the fall...in this case it was literal! :p

the two times I fell with my clipless pedals both were in un public parking lots with lots of other witnesses including other bikers. Siggh...... I believe in laughing at myself first becausse I know eventually everyone else will end up laughing at me as well.
It's just another rite of passage, welcome to the "failure to unclip properly" club aka as the "help, I didn't unclip and know I can't get up "group.

Ha, a friend of mine fell in the middle of a parade with thousands of spectators. *makes a mental note to never ride in a parade*

Welcome to the club, Zoom! I've even seen the pros do it, believe it or not.

This is totally off topic, but I like how your "water bottles" match your bike. I'm going to put Bells Winter Ale in my water bottle cages when I get my new bike in pearl white. I hope I don't do the clipless fall on that bike. I would rather hurt me than the bike.

Ooh, another Bell's-themed bike! Promise you will post photos of that. :D Heh, my bike now sports a nice vinyl Oberon sticker on the upper end of the downtube. :)
I get that not wanting to hurt the bike, too. I was inspecting Oby for damage before I made sure that I had no holes in my clothes. Only thing I saw was a small scratch on the brake lever and some dirt on my bar tape. No harm....phew!

If I fall again I could tear whats left of my rotator cuff. I've gotten past the usual clipless fall, but If I have to stop going uphill I still have a struggle with that.
I will try to post pix of the new bike with "matching bottles", unless I manage to drink all the existing Bells winter ale first.:D

It happens to the best of us. Good thing you didn't hurt yourself much though.
I've heard worse. Not saying you'll get used to it but in the long run, you'll be more mindful of the 'falls' and manage to escape or lessen the damage then after.
But when you just can't avoid it? Just laugh over it and take it as a learning experience... Given it doesn't hurt so much of course.
