I came out of the gym last night to discover that some kind soul had wrenched the LED light off my handlebars and made off with it. They might at least have a) used the quick release, or b) unscrewed the fitting, but no.

Probably my fault for leaving it attached to the bike in the first place, but even so ... it was kind of an unpleasant way to end the evening.

Off to the LBS during my lunch break, and I'll have to remember in future to take the light with me. *sigh*

NO, it's not YOUR FAULT!! It's the fault of the a   hole who can't keep their mitts off other people's property.

A nice fat Cherokee curse has been sent their way!

I was relieved of my little saddle bag a couple of months ago and I was just depressed. It astounded me that someone would go to the trouble to take it. Most of the time I live in a naive little bubble and try to think the best of everyone, but experiences like that really cast a big dark gloomy cloud on my psyche.

I told myself that maybe it was someone that needed it more than me.

And I got myself a nifty new bag made out of hemp that's really hard to detach and a nice new multi tool.

It's an opportunity to get a new more bettah light!

haha, you girls are too cute! A cherokee curse huh. I am Cherokee too. They deserve it! It does amaze me how people act. It seems like when you are in those areas where you're freaking out, people seem to be really friendly and then you leave your bike outside somewhere you ride often and someone hocks something.. Retardedness I tell ya

It really does make you sad when something you own is stolen or vandalized, and unfortunately, this happens a lot. It really makes you feel that you can't own anything nice without someone f-ing with it. :(

Sorry about your light.

In my job working with the law-abidingly challenged the prevailing attitude of my clients is finders keepers. There is no remorse, only a sense of entitlement.

I'm sorry your light got stolen and it's a shame that we have to encase our hard earned goodies in locks and such just to keep them. :(

what latelatebloomer sez "it's not YOUR FAULT!! It's the fault of the a   hole who can't keep their mitts off other people's property.

Adding Jewish curse to that: may they loose all their teeth except one to have a toothache.

On the positive. At least they went small and you could ride home :) I learned in my nieghborhood growing up to never leave the lights and computer on because they would push all the buttons, invariably leaving it on
