Ive decided to ride in the Aus Tour de Femme. It has the big name female riders( and all us slow people pulling up the rear!)
Its about 22 km. I normally ride about 22 km on weekends but dont tend to eat much.( Its my cardio, burn off cookies ride).
Im right in assuming eat about 2 hours before, then a light snack before( Id have bananas and juice, as I m allergic to protein bars and all those glucose things.
Im not worried about racing( as I still have chronic fatigue so may be slow anyhow) but finishing the race in good time- ie not the last one!!:p
