What do you make with these tart little gems? I tend to associate them as an interesting dessert garnish. Right now we have a little cache of green, slightly dried fresh gooseberries. Don't taste as tart right now, so I'll just put them in my oatmeal tomorrow.
A shame really..

Take a look at healthy-eating-made-easy and look for gooseberry recipes; or just search the web for gooseberry recipes. Lots of good stuff out there. Are your gooseberries all green or do they have a pink tinge to them. There are two types of gooseberries. The green are best cooked and the pink ones can be eaten fresh.

We have friends that make pies and jam from their gooseberries.
