I already posted my first experience with clipped in shoes! it is in the begginer rider section. I laugh about it now....that I don't have hungry (or my percetion of it...) dogs on my ***!
I need to find some riding partners... it appears my neighborhood is not as inviting as it could be. I live outside the city in the rolling hills/farm land area southeast of Austin.

Serendipitous! I really needed that! I've been working my *ss off all winter..my run paces are slower and the bike hill workout I did last night slower than last year..which of course is contributing to the "I suck" frame of mind that I'm in...I've talked to my coach..attributing this unfortunate decline to age (which I believe there is some merit in). We've altered my training blocks. I do try to vsualize success but there has been the seed of doubt...
Thanks for the great link!
