Umm..how does one post a link? I've seen it and have no clue how to do it :o

I just tried using the insert link button on the little box beside the one for images but it didn't work...

I just use the ol' cut-and-paste method (cut and paste the url into my post). Perhaps there is a fancier way of doing it, but it seems to work okay. :confused:

When you push the "Insert Link" icon (globe with a chain link), be sure that, at the very beginning, the "http://" is not there twice.

Best way for me:
- it's best to have TE open AND the page you want to link
- go to the page you want to link
- right click on the address bar of the page you want to link
- go to your TE message page, hit the "Insert Link" icon and paste copied link
- before hitting "OK", arrow back to the beginning of the link's address and delete the duplicate "http://"

Your inserted link must begin with the "http://", but can't have it twice.

Hope that helps. It's hard to articulately describe each step precisely...would be much easier to show, but Perth is just too darn far;):D

(although the "code" tags in bbcode are supposed to allow code being shown, I had to insert a ... after the first square bracket!!)

you can key in the code or type "try this link", highlight it, and hit the globe/chain icon and paste your URL in the popup as mr. silver sez.
