Does Anyone know how to get the admin to notice a totally inappropriate thread if they don't notice it themselves? There were several postings titled "live sex show" or something and some were deleted when I checked back, but some are still there. How do I notify admin?

yes you hit the little exclamation point at the lower left corner of a post, and it goes to them. I suspet that as it's currently 8 am pst, admin has not looked at their computer yet and that they'll take care of it as soon as they can. I also suspect that there will be 25 bad post notices when they do look.
I moderate at another site. Things typically get taken care of as soon as a moderator knows. There we have a team that are all on the board at different times. My guess is we have one(?) moderator here, and if they are sleeping, gone or doing something else we just have to be patient. Perhaps someone would like to volunteer to assisit with moderation duties, if admin feels comfortable with it.

Whew. Good thing to know. I sent them a message immediately.

Remember the admin is also on the west coast of the USA and it is the weekend. I'm amazed at how fast Jeff responds so let him sleep in this morning. :) At least there aren't any images loaded.

I thought there must be a time difference I notified them early this morning (British Time). ;)

Psssst. Don't let those East Coast girls hear, but we had 80 degree weather and we went for a ride and I had totally nekkid arms so the proper biker tan has started! :D

Yeah, I rode in a tank top on Thursday. Took 8 minutes off my time on my usual after work ride. Must have been the lighter clothes. :p
It was in overcast in SF today though. Today was our day at the Maritime Park.

Yeah, it barely cleared up down here. My friend, Beth, and I rode from my house to Chesbro Reservoir and it was misting almost the whole way. Even when we got home at 12:15 it was still cold and dreary. So much for our forecasted 78. That's okay, it got to 87 here yesterday.

It was beautiful and sunny when we left Antioch this morning. Beautiful and sunny when we got back too. I spent my day screwing in copper flashing, hauling two hundred pound wire coils up from belowdecks and scraping paint off the mast. Doesn't sound like much fun, but the Balclutha ( the ship I volunteer on at the Maritime Park) is almost 120 years old and the last of her kind. So, it feels like time well spent. No riding for me tomorrow either probably. I have to tile the bathroom. Let's hope there are no more glitches. If all goes well we can go mountain biking in the afternoon at Black Diamond.

I'm almost jealous of the hard work you did. Gerry and I were in Sanfrancisco last year and saw the Balclutha. She really is a beutiful vessel, and impressive to look at. We just so love S.F It's one of our favourite cities. It's only compeditors for us are Paris (France) and New York. Anyway keep up the good work. :)
Livecam Sex Show is still there in the new riders section. I'm surprised.

I think it's only Jeff, & possibly Susan, that are admins on this forum - and like Irulan said, they might be taking the weekend off.
The junk posts will go away soon. In the meantime, the best bet is to just ignore them :p
