We are getting a daughter!!!! We were going to get a Aussie, but I'm afraid that is not going to happen now. I have friend that I work with has a German/Husky mix who got pregnant by a full blood Boxer.
Resulting the cutest little furballs ever!!! Here she is at 5 days old:

Absolutely darling! Is Cairo her name? Great name!
We picked our Paisley out at 3 weeks old, and she's 11 weeks old now now. She's got the most amazing, loving personality, and we've completely fallen in love with her as you will with your new pup!
You'll have to keep us posted and provide more photos later. Congratulations!

Thanks all. I figured that DH and I have such a hard time getting pregnant, that I find that I truely think of my dog and cats as children. DH's parents have long accepted the fact that their grandsons are four legged! Now, we willbe giving them a granddaughter!!!
I will keep the pictures rolling in! I also would like to see a few more of Paisley too, since I have a fond spot for Boston Terriers!!
Tulip-Oh yes she will!!! My friend said that she was stupid not to get her dog taken care of when she should have, after this, she will. :D

They're on my blog (link in my sig below). I can barely keep that updated often enough to suit my family/relatives/friends, so I never seem to be able to manage to post them here too. I'm behind posting on my blog too - no 11 week old photos yet!

Hi all- we now have Ciaro at home and she is a demon dog! She is getting along great with the rest of the family! The boys, Miles and Brody, just love her! The cats however, not so much.
DH and I are currently suffering from lack of sleep do to puppy separation anxeity. She has a crate and HATES it. She loves puppy food, treats and my dining room table!
She is beautiful and she's our little princess. we are very lucky to have her. Next up: physical and shots. A couple of months after that: Fixed! Equals: One happy family!:D
I'll gets pics soon.
Emily: How is Paisley doing? I need to take a sneek peek at you blog again for updates and pics. Is it still there?

what a beautiful and sweet little puppy!!! We have an aussie and a lab. The lab is a perfect trail dog but the aussie is a spaz! They are our babies too. No children. Our parents call them the "grand dogs." I hope your baby settles in soon.

Paisley is doing great! I haven't been on here much lately as we took nearly a week over Memorial Day down at our boat, and I feel like I'm still catching up. We took Paisley with us to the boat, and she did amazingly! She's 18 weeks old now and so much easier and more fun than when she was younger. So smart, too. She's done with all her shots too. Next up will be spaying later in the summer. She LOVES people and is very sociable, thank heavens!
You can see the latest photos on my blog.
So glad you're loving having Cairo home. How old is she now? She will probably learn to love her crate -- Paisley didn't like hers early on, since it meant being away from us -- but now she goes in there voluntarily for naps!
Can't wait to see more Cairo photos -- so cute!!!!
Emily
