Can someone help me? I started riding almost 2 years ago and I love it. I have only one problem. I have horrible pains in my legs below the knees. This started long before I began riding. I have very little elasticity in my legs. Drinking Endurox R4 Recovery Drink helps a lot. This was recommended at my local bike shop.

Has anyone else had this problem? What did you do?

Any help is appreciated. My hybrid, mountain and road bikes are getting impatient.

Thanks.

Have a professional determine if your bike fit is correct and make necessary adjustments.

See a doctor. There could be something more going on. Seeing a holistic doctor in addition to a conventional doctor may help you make some permanent changes that could make life easier for you now and as you age.

Also, could you specify the pain? There is just so much that could be going on. Pain below the knee covers a lot.

Do you smoke? Are you on BC pills or hormone therapy? Are you diabetic? Have you had an injury? How old are you? How is your blood pressure? How is your cholesterol? (I'm actually presenting a line of questioning for a specific problem that is incredibly common and causes leg pain for many people, and if it is the cause, then you're at risk for other very common and well-known conditions that need to be addressed now.)

Is the pain sharp? Is it cramping? Is it tingling? Is it only with activity? Do you get it if you go for a walk? If so, how many city blocks can you go before it hurts? Is it localized - front of leg, back, near knee, ankle, etc.?

+1 on checking in with your Doc. There are so many things it could be.
