Were you able to get out and enjoy cycling today?

We had *balmy* temps today and I decided to go for it. The wind was calm and I wanted to do a lot of miles since we may have snow showers by Sunday. :mad: So I did 50 miles today. Did great until the last 10 miles and then my achilles tendon was screaming and I basically coasted back to the car. I was so mad at myself. I don't know what caused it but it sure kept me from finishing strong. :(

40 today with a couple of the guys. It was a perfect day here too - roads dry even first thing in the morning, wind didn't start to pick up until we were almost done. My legs were a little sore yet from my running race simulation on Wednesday, but I was surprised that I felt really strong on the bike. Some kinda peakin' goin' on. I remember that feeling from 20 years ago... and it's a good one.
