How do you do it! I am in awe. I was checking out your bikejournal stats today - over 17,000 km this year so far!!! Amazing!

Dang!!!! And I thought I was so cool shooting for 5,000 miles, ~8,000 km!
That's **CRAZY** (in a very good way!!)

LOL---you're going by km not miles.

We've had a record drought this year, so I haven't missed many days since a bad weather (snow/ice) February. Plus, I've needed to ride to deal w/a huge amount of stress & loss this year.

Hey, 10,000+ miles is still amazing. I am struggling to get my 2500 and I rode a ton in the summer... Sorry you've had stress and loss to deal with though. I'm glad riding has helped. I can understand why.

Way to GO, Velobambina! I'm in awe! When I was muddling around being depressed and horrible last winter someone told me (without knowing about all that stuff) "There's no problem so big you can't bike from it!"

Which I keep comong back to, cause in a way he was right :D Biking sure improves my outlook on a lot of stuff - and is surely one of the healthiest ways to deal with stress.

That's Incredible! (like the show from the 70's/80's- am I dating myself here?)

I can't believe you could ride that far in one year. Sure, I've ridden that far in 2 1/2 years, but could never imagine that all in one year! Wow!
You're super studly in my book.

And yes, cycling is good therapy!

Next year, it should be easier to get in miles since I plan to commute to work by bike. Right now, the "bad puppy" Fiona still doesn't have the bladder capacity for me to bike home after work. My plan is to start bike commuting in January, after I wrap up my Christmas leave. That is, if we are lucky enough to have a snow-ice free winter around these parts.
