Hey, Dita...
Go clean out your PM message box. I tried to send you a message and it says your mailbox is full...

I just increased the limit on number of stored private messages from 100 to 500, so that should help...

We weren't at the T-Mobile but we'll probably be at the Cinderella Classic again next year.

I couldn't make the T-Mobile race... no plane ticket.
Trek420... you save all those msgs! D*#m! I am so "keep the storage down" oriented, I read 'em, answer 'em and delete 'em.
I have 3 other email addresses... (who am I, where am I)
I spent Saturday at a local race (Haverhill MA, Wayne Elliot Mem. Criterium). Got some great pics... I'll get them up on my site (www.spazzdog.com) as soon as I figure it out.
Also, weekend of Sep 24, driving down to NYC for the Mengoni Grand Prix. It's a heck of a race. I'll take pics there too.
P.S. I realize only the 2nd sentence really was "thread" related, but my fingers got ahead of my brain. Sorry...

I heard over the weekend that the 2005 Cinderella will likely be the last one. "Zoning issues", whaddevertheheck that means.

Part Pardee is the same weekend next year. Same mileage, prettier scenery and more "aware" riders. I got a little frustrated with women on the Cinderella ride, just abruptly stopping in the middle of the lane, or, stoppping just after a turn to wait for others and waiting in the middle of the bike lane, or riding three or four abreast, and making no attempt to move over as we passed them on the tandem. We always called out as we passed, but I gather some of the faster chicks on singles didn't bother. Which in my mind is almost as bad as stopping in the middle of a hill.
That doesn't mean I want it to go away - just that I've come to the conclusion that it's not a good fit for me.

I got my name on the e-mail list, supposedly if you do they will notify you when registration begins.
It's sad when any ride closes because of "zoning", like the Cherry City Century, which covered I think some of the same roads and was cut down in its prime for the same reason. It was one of my first metrics, such a nice group and ride.
So I asked if this is true and if so is there anyone we can write to. Also think it's important because it gets more women riding. Funny on the Cindy I got lots of compliments for signaling etc. Now I know it might have been conspicuous due to the abscence of signals in others? Well, if it's the last we'll have to make a point to meet up.
