Well, I have been frustrated lately with my cycling speed/average, so I have been working on improving it.
It has gotten somewhat better. For example, for 40 mile rides, I have taken my average from 14-16 mph to 16-18 mph.
Today, I went out to the lake to ride 20 miles and run 3 miles.
The bike:

20.79 miles
18.98 miles/hr
That's RIGHT! I was speeding today! I think this is a Personal Best to date! WHOO-HOO! I can't believe I almost did 20 miles in one hour! I have never done that before... ever!
If I keep this up, I might get to ride with the big boys... soon!
After my ride, I went to run.
The run:
30m 15s
3.00 miles
10m 05s /mile
Dang, I was an all around speed demon today! I haven't run this fast before after a ride!
No side cramp and my lower legs felt great. I felt strong and good! I felt like a triathlete!
Great day of training for me!
This was my last brick before my first Oly distance on 5-28-07. I feel SO READY for the race! I am trained and ready! YES! :D
Anyone else have some break throughs lately? If so... please share!
