John Stossel's going to put on a wig, hop on a bike and ride down the street! I don't know why, yet.

Oooh, I think it's gonna be about helmets. But why a wig?:confused:

He had someone on who said drivers drive closer to cyclists who wear a helmet, and drivers are less likely to drive near a woman. He tried it by putting a wig on and riding his bike in NYC. I didn't know he was a bike commuter. :)

The guest also said that laws requiring helmets for cyclists makes people less likely to ride, which is not as safe as riding without a helmet--because a sedentary lifestyle is hazardous to your health.

Mr. Stossel always has food for thought.
