my boobs are cold....I wonder iif there are boob warmers that I can buy

the wind is blowing my snot sideways...that feels weird

I should invent a snot drain....some type of tubing that drains the snot down to the street

I wonder how Mr. Silver is doing.....he was stressed out last night...I hope he's doing better

I need to wear thicker socks next ride.

I'm tired but I must keep going to add miles to TE's tally.....

On a run on an especially crispy cold day recently I told my running partner 'I wish they made mittens for my lungs'.

'It's called a vest', she replied.

My nearly-absent boobs are fine on rides, but my booty always gets really cold. I don't feel it when I'm on the bike, it's just when I get home that my butt cheeks are ice-cold!!!

To warm your boobs ---

1. Put on sports bra.
2. Put chemical hand or toe warmer into thin sock.
3. Place sock with warmer into bra.
4. Warmer AND bigger boobs. All set to ride. ;-)

Thoughts while riding:

How cool to be riding in January!
If I ride today, I can eat. Yay!
My car is sitting at home. I love that.
Applause for being pre-menopausal - my hands and toes are NOT freezing.
I COULD be hiking instead......

I'm going to try a higher cut sport bra tomorrow. I didn't think it would matter since it was the first layer of 4 layers. But some of the hand warmers would be nice!!!

Usually these thoughts are interspersed with strains of song--and it's usually the most inane thing there is, like "yummy yummy yummy I got love in my tummy," or something equally barf-inducing. Where does this stuff come from?

I can't rememeber what it is called but I got a great bra at te last year it is dual layer keeps them puppies warm.

When its cold, instead of my usual sports bra, I wear a full length sport top w built in bra, like the Nike Dri Fit tops made to wear without a shirt. Then I layer a thin wicking shirt, a long sleeve jersy, and sometimes vest (thin or thick depending on temps). Keep that core warm, and your boobs will stay warm too!

Actually that's what I was wearing. A Nike long top, Under armour cold weather turtleneck, thick vest and then a Nike fleece pullover. It's just that the Nike sport bra top was lower cut. I have another that is higher cut. I wore it today and I did much better.

That's a LOT of layers. The most I'll add is a goretex jacket, but never a fleece pulllover. How cold was it?

LOL!!! I'm a cold weather WEENIE!!!! About 40 degrees with 15 mph wind, partly cloudy. Each of these layers are relatively thin.

The Nike pullover is not exactly fleece. I don't know what to call it. It's a sphere fleece if you've ever seen that. The vest is one of those Chili salsa vests. It's like the underarmour fabric but a little thicker.

I was raised in the South and the cold here in Indiana really gets to me....and it's Southern Indiana:(

What was in my head as I pedalled up the hills on tuesday...

The ants go marching one by one hurrah hurrah, the ants go marching one by one hurrah hurrah the ants go marching one by one the little one stopped to.....hmmm what rhymes with one...nevermind....the ants go marching two by two hurrah hurrah......

The whole song (counting to 10) stayed in my head all the way up both big hills. Thing I got through the whole thing at least four times. I was a bit mental by the time I got home. Definitely need to learn some better songs. Generally I get one phrase or three chords from a song stuck in my head and it goes on repeat for the whole ride. Drives me a bit crazy after a while...

Ah, the dreaded ear worm! During a mountain bike race I was unfortunate enough to have Niel Diamond's Coming to America stuck in there. It wasn't fair....the women's race started with no music at all....the men's race they cranked AC/DC's Rock N Roll Ain't Noise Pollution, so DH had a happy ear worm and I had sap. :eek: Not fair!!

- Gotta switch chain lube, this stuff is like pedaling through honey when its cold.

- Nuts, my headlight is getting dim.

One of my cycling "buddies" put tape over the bottom horizontal line in the "E" and didn't tell me. I found it while loading groceries. No wonder I got a lot of looks! :eek:
