Back and even better for 2008! What does Velo Girls do best? We build a community of women who ride bikes together. Our endurance team is a new component of Team Velo Girls, introduced in 2007, and dedicated to community-building and having fun!

Join Team Velo Girls on four different organized rides (centuries and metrics) throughout the season. We'll lead you through a series of progressive training rides to prepare you for the big day. We'll help you learn how to train. We'll guide you on endurance nutrition and hydration. And we'll have a lot of fun together!

New for 2008, join us at our Cinderella Indoor Training, sponsored by Mike’s Bikes. This 10-week indoor training series is coached by USA Cycling Expert Coach, Lorri Lee Lown, and developed to supplement your outdoor training. To register for indoor training, contact coaching@velogirls.com

Here are our four target events for 2008. We hope you’ll join us in having the ride of your life.

    Cinderella Classic – April 5th, 2008 -- contact Winnie@velogirls.com

    Strawberry Fields Forever -- May 18th, 2008– contact Jackie@velogirls.com

    Holstein Hundred -- August 16th, 2008– contact Annette@velogirls.com

Bike Against the Odds -- September 2008 – contact Lyn@velogirls.com

Please note that these events are not organized by Velo Girls and each participant is responsible for her own registration to the event.

You'll find more details on these and all our rides and events on the Velo Girls calendar. http://www.velogirls.com/calendar.php

Just had a look at your training schedule for Cinderella and just wanted to say how much fun it looks to organise these training rides...

This is something I think I would really enjoy doing for women in my area... but alas, too many other commitments

    Well done all the VeloGirls
