Okay, let's get a good thread with links for all the regional race sites started.
I'm in the San Francisco area. We have five different series in our district -- Bay Area, Sacramento, Central Coast (Monterey), Surf City (Santa Cruz), and East Bay. Lots of racing! In addition, there are some fun non-sanctioned races.
Here's the link for Northern California (with links to all the various series):

I'm not a cross-er myself (3 new bikes in the last 2 years is enough for a while...) but here's the link for Washington races. There's a pretty big cross scene up here, with plenty of women of all abilities involved.

Nothing is posted yet for our 2006 cyclocross season - not too surprising - our cyclocross series are pretty low key
but, red rock racing put on the northern az cyclocross series and had a site last year of www.azcyclocross.com I hear they are going to do the series again in 2006
and, the Desert Foxes (woman's club) down in Tucson put on a series under their website www.desertfoxescycling.com Haven't heard whether they will be putting these races on this year?
At this point I don't plan to race, but I do plan to be an avid spectator! Here's the schedule for MidAtlantic 'Cross and the main site: http://www.midatlanticcross.info/home.htm
How cool! I'm glad to see this section added to the forum
"How about if we all just try to follow these very simple rules of the road? Drive like the person ahead on the bike is your son/daughter. Ride like the cars are ambulances carrying your loved ones to the emergency room. This should cover everything, unless you are a complete sociopath."

I am getting really bummed! I haven't been able to get any one who usually puts cyclocross on in Arizona to commit to doing the races this year. - I got a oh, I think we're doing that again this year from the local promoters, but nothing definitive and time is running out for them to get their venues and I hear thru the grapevine that they haven't contacted the guy in charge of the venues!
The other promoters down south haven't come out with anything yet either. I don't know what I will do without cyclocross this year???? I'm so sad
Road Trip! I formally invite you to come race with us in CA!!!
I could stop at my favorite mexican restaurant in Hayward and have chile verde! and go the to the pizza place in Berkeley! Hmmmmmm !
