    700x28 tubes in 700x23 tires?

Lost my mind and ordered six 700x28 tubes for my 700x23 road tires. Will this work or will I be trying to jam too much tube in? (does it mean 5mm in diameter?)
    Big thanks, Lette

Very quick response from Performancebike to exchange them, they would not work well in my 700x23.
    Thanks girls,

A given tube usually fits a range of widths, and those widths should be printed on the box. A tube meant for 23 would probably fit 28, but one means for 28 and up may not fit 23.
Oil is good, grease is better.
