Now that's why I got a Step Thru frame!

I was RACING yesturday... trying to beat the delivery guys (who had my new fridge for my new unit) back to my place. I had 20mins and 5 km to to ride... MOSTLY uphill!

Anyhue. I was flying round a cornerat 17k per hour, and came off the footpath onto the dirtpatch infront of McDonalds. BAM!
    I crashed over.

But Somehow the adrenalin was pumping... and I ended up on my feet BESIDE the bike whilst still hanging onto the handlebars!

After a few seconds of "BREATHE" I realised that 1: I'd survived my first fall UNINJURED! and 2: The step thru is what probably stopped me from going arse up... I had swung my leg over the front and landed on my feet.

I'm now so GLAD I chose my step thru frame. yet another reason I love my bike

    LOL - what images

    Betcha couldn't coreograph it again!

Pleased your first crash ended in no injury for you or for bike

And I have to ask - did you beat the delivery guys?

Courage does not always roar. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying,
    "I will try again tomorrow".

HA! HA! That's great! Thank goodness you are OK!!!

Reminds me of when I was 17 and driving my first car- a stick shift. I almost hit someone, and I SLAMMED on my brakes and skidded into the intersection.

My friends in the car were terrified... but I didn't hit anything.

ME? I was CHEERING! "WOW! I didn't even kill the car guys! I was so quick I pushed in the clutch before slamming on the brake!".

Yep, I sure was proud of my fast feet on those pedals!
"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather, to skid in broadside thoroughly used-up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming: WOW WHAT A RIDE!!!!"
