I got this email today from the sponsoring club and I thought I would share. . .

    Ladies

It's almost upon us. The Little Red Riding Hood ride is on Saturday,
    June
    3, 2006.

To insure that you get a Tshirt in your size we need to receive your
registration by May 24, 2006. Not to mention, registration goes up to
    $40 at
    that time.

Registrations must be received in our PO Box by this date or via
    Active.com
which you can access from the following link.

    http://www.active.com/event_detail.cfm?event_id=1288153

If you need a registration form to mail your registration one can be
    down
loaded from our web site, bbtc.net and can be accessed from the
    following
    link.

    http://www.bbtc.net/Calendar/annual/rideapp06.pdf

Tshirts come in both a womens specific cut as well as in an unisex cut.

Don't forget it's not to late to order a Jersey. We are still
    accepting
Jerseys Orders. (Shipment to you will be approximetly 6-7 weeks
    following
    the ride.)

Attached to this email is a picture of the Jersey.

Last year we had 800+ happy lady riders and based on registrations
    received
to date we hope to exceed that amount this year.

We look forward to seeing lots of happy riders.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me via email at

    I'm so excited!
I have been struggling with a knee injury the last 6 weeks or so. And while its not fully healed I can bike again..its actually one of my physical therapies. I just have to stop if the knee gets aggrevated and avoid too many long hill climbs. I don't know how long I'll be able to ride at LRRH but I'll be there. Yeah!!

Do we have any plans to meet anywhere on Saturday morning??

Our outfit will probably be the easiest to spot and we'll be there early.

Look for a silver/gray Isuzu Trooper (California vanity license plate) hauling a flatbed trailer with 10 bikes mounted on it. If you know yellow, follow her as she knows what the rig looks like. We'll probably have it parked on the curb rather than in the parking lot itself due to the trailer.

I'm working on something to tape in the car windows also.

    Ten days!

I think I am going to print out the TE biker gal and tape it to the side window of the four-runner (white/dirt in color), that and Persian Gulf veteran plates ought to help identify me.

My car: silver Subaru Forester with a silver Rocket Box and an Alta sticker on the back window. Two bikes will be mounted on the roof on either side of the box: my maroon Specialized and V's orange Rivendell.

Me, AuntieK and three of our friends will be in a silver, older (1990s) style Suburban with a TE logo on its back or driver side rear window. I think AK and I will put our TE names on the back too.

Looking forward to meeting everyone on Saturday at LRRH.
I will be in a Suburban with Australia stickers on the back. I will also have my husband and three young sons with me (listen out for the Aussie accent).

    potential hiccup

Andrew may not be able to drive me to Utah. Emergency at work that he is not sure he can fix before the weekend. If all else fails, I could drive myself - but that wouldn't be much fun and it wouldn't be on his work's dime (he was fitting a site visit into the trip).

should know more by tomorrow night...........
    Cheers!

Cindy, will he able to get out there at all?

We can get your bike there. How much is a one-way flight at this last minute?
