    150 Miles in April

I got my new Trek Pilot at the beginning of April and put 150 miles on her in one month! Now that the weather is getting better here in New England, I'll be able to ride during the week and am going to put for 250 miles in May!

By the way, I'm one of the fat ladies who walked up every hill not too long ago. I can say from experience that the workouts on the stationary bike definately help!

Thanks to everyone here for all your support and encouragement.

    Ride on,
    Patty

    Pilot seat

Hi fishdr, I LOVE my Pilot. I was riding a Trek hybrid and with some encouragement from the ladies here, I decided that I needed a road bike to train for the charity ride that I'm doing in August.
The stock seat bothered me so I changed it out for a Serfax RX and LOVE it. My longest ride was 30 miles on the new seat and all my parts were happy!

The bonty saddle is truely torturous. I'll look into this one - thanks for the suggestions. I also used to ride a Trek Hybrid (7200FX) and am absolutely loving the Pilot. It's a dream to ride, isn't it? I'm training for a century next summer and hopefully my first triathalon next May.

I'm hoping to do 150 miles in May. Good luck to you!
