What's impressive to me is that she changed the tires while they were in the oven!

    Yes, that is impressive.

What's the weirdest place you've ever changed a tire?

I wonder what the eagle cam is doing? Sleeping probably.

well, really, no where interesting. Just on the street. What was impressive was that it EXPLODED (this is the old found-in-the-garbage-and-rescued Schwinn). Loud explosion and flat as I was riding it. Many swear words at the top of my lungs. Didn't know the first thing about changing a tire, and I was now late for work, so I locked the bike to a sign post, took off the exploded front tire, and hoofed it to work. Took the tire to Sportmart after work and said, "what do I need to fix this?"

When I told the story later, a guy friend thought I was talking about my car, and that I had removed the tire and carried it to work. He was impressed. Not too bright, but impressed!

I've had a tire explode right in front of me on a ride, slime has a pleasant minty flavor.

Snap, my chin hair is longer than that, well not exactly.

On my MTB, tried to punp the rear tire and I can't move the valve cover, it won't turn. Can I be that weak? Off to do push ups.

The hair on my head used to be 1 or 2 inches long. (red spikes. very demure.) I'm growing it out, and now its almost to my ear lobes. Aiming for chin length. This is the longest it's been in YEARS. It was time for a change.

My chin hair, on the other hand, was recently yanked and is no-where to be seen.

My nose ring keeps turning itself around so the hooky-part is hanging out my nostril like a silver boogie. (not so demure)

Did you know falling uphill is much more exciting than falling downhill..Only crazycanucks can master falling uphill though...

I'm getting annoyed with my chin hair...but nose hair is more annoying.

I used to have bleached highlights, left temple only, assymetric haircut. Much more standard issue hair now.

I'm back from my ride!! And I see you've left out my favorite topic, next to my pets- wine! I packed a bottle of low-alcohol Moscato d'Asti to enjoy while camping out pre-ride Friday night, but forgot my wine glass! The only possible solution was either my Polar bottle (would be like drinking wine out of a baby bottle!) or Dillbird's water-carrying bottle for in the car, which is a urine specimen cup...Which is what I chose! The wine was strangely urine colored, but luckily my new friends at the campsite didn't seem to be disgusted by it...

I think any white wine could pass for urine-coloured in that vessel...

I painted my toenails Shanghai Shimmer today, after skiing all morning/early afternoon and then going for a short mountain bike ride (OK, really short, as in to the park 8 blocks away and back).

Oh no! Not that one! The one on the contour with my house!

    (Man, I love Google Earth!)

My legs were too shot for the OTHER park and I was riding about with a couple of acquaintances, one of which got a brand new bike yesterday. So it was more of a "test drive" for her.

I bought sexy new biking gloves today. Purple and gray. Two of my favorite colors.

I also bought a computer for the Dew. And ordered a Crank Bros Speed Lever.

Dew needs a name. I had a plastic Stitch on the handlebar (from Disney's Lilo and Stitch) but it fell off. Since it's a Kona, and is the color of Stitch, I'm thinkin' something along those lines. I've never been to Hawaii, but I grew up just outside Ferndale WA, where KonaBikes is based.

Got my nose ring to behave again. I'm sure y'all were waiting with bated breath to see how that turned out...

    What a relief!

They used to play Lilo & Stitch incessantly at the public health clinic where I work. So I'm hearing Elvis songs + demented dialog all day, over and over. I finally rented the thing to see what was going on! Cute movie.
