Hello ladies...I'm a new member and a new rider also. I started biking in June and have almost 1000 miles logged so far. I've gotten lots of great tips since finding this forum. I know there are a few other members from upstate...maybe we could get together for a ride???

    Hi Donna322!

I'd love to get together for a ride but I'm near Niagara Falls, all the way on the other side of the state from you.

Bet you have some really beautiful areas to ride around where you live!

These forums are a gold mine of information...I've learned quite a lot by being a studious reader.

    Welcome!

Hey donna! Welcome! I can't believe you have already ridden 1,000 miles just since June, especially being new to riding! You ROCK!!!

    Keep it up!

    Cool Welcome

I thought I was doing good with my measly 1100 miles since last August when my husband and I began riding... I did finish my first century on Sept. 6th and still feel great about that!!

I guess you showed me, huh?!?! Welcome to the club!!!

    Hi Donna,

    Welcome to TE!

I'm originally from Long Island but I currently have relatives living near Albany. I've been coming up your way the last three years to ride the Tour de Cure out of Stillwater. Maybe we can meet next time I'm up that way.

I did the 25 in 2006 (my first organized ride), the 50 in 2007, and the metric this year. I'll probably repeat the metric next year.
