I have recently bought my 2-years old baby girl her very first bike. She loves Despicable Me the reason why I chose this design. I have tried taking a video of her during the practice session when she suddenly fell and cried out loud. Our 5-years old Pomeranian immediately run after her to cheer her up, and there goes little Lace again trying her best to find her balance. She demand for me to put Copper in that mini basket, but he won't fit in and its not safe since she's too young. Yesterday she saw me put Copper in the backpack pet carrier so he can join us for a bicycle ride -- she then said that once she is old enough she will also bring our pooch for a bicycle ride around the neighborhood.

Just saw this. What a sweet little bike! One thing, I don't have kids, but a lot of people remove pedals and training wheels, and let their kids learn to balance by pushing with their feet. They sell a lot of bikes that don't even have a way to use pedals for the little ones. Might be easier for her to learn, and more comfortable since they tend to lean to one side and depend on the training wheels at first. You may have to lower the saddle so her feet are flat. But it's more fun for the kids, too. I've even heard of adults who never learned to ride doing that to their bikes to make it easier. Instead of training wheels, the new riders just use their legs, and learn much faster with fewer falls.

So long as the wheels are still turning, life is good.
