I have a wide smooth tire on my bike for use on the trainer. Lately it's been squeaking badly with every pedal stroke, meaning it's skidding on the roller. I couldn't tell if that meant there was too much tire pressure, or not enough. Or maybe the resistance was too tight, or maybe too loose. So I've tried every combination. I think it's a little better with less resistance, but it still skids.

So, could it be the tire itself? Is it possible that the tire is too smooth and "glazed" from the roller? Or there is residue on the roller? The noise is driving me nuts. I'm open to suggestions, and Happy New Year!
