Dear All - I am a new-ish rider. I say new because I cannot go faster than 32 mph on even a straight downhill, I cannot get into an aero position and ride for any length of time at any speed, and I can't U turn left. I have had so many different bike fittings, I practice drills, but I can't seem to get over this gripping fear I have. I have done 4 Ironman triathlons on a beautiful triathlon bike barely ever getting into aero position. What a waste, right ? Has anyone here got any practical experience / advice as to how they overcame these fears - like drills, or strength training or such ? I feel wobbly and then I get petrified. I also feel like I steer the bike with my hands (which is not good either). Thanks for any input provided !
