Hi TE - I live in Indiana where we have a dog bite law that only protects law enforcement, emergency responders, mail carriers, etc but not general citizens. I was bitten recently and I fall under the "One-bite rule". I have to pay all my medical bills. Michigan recently changed from "one bite" to zero bite with the dog owner being 100% responsible. I have talked with my state rep to ask that our law be changed to stop the victimization. I'm hitting a brick wall. Can anyone in the TE Forum help me find someone to talk with who can give me suggestions/support/ideas?
Thank you! Barb
