    Still Commuting at 70!

Hello again from Pardes. I haven't been around for a few years but I wanted to return and say thanks to all of you that helped me ditch the car and go GREEN in 2008. I turned 70 this year and haven't driven anything but one of my three beloved bikes for everything I need. It's such a GRAND way to live life.

Arthritis has certainly become a problem but on really bad days, I drag out the E-bike and go on about my business and pleasure.

I hope to reconnect with old friends, make new ones and catch up on what's new these days at the great Team Estrogen. BTW, I still laugh out loud at the "girlie bits" posts that we shared. What a hoot you all are!

Hello again! Glad you're enjoying life on your bikes.

How do you shop by bike? Do you use a trailer or have a cargo bike?

I use panniers on the back of the bike and a basket in the front. It's astonishing how much you can haul. Well except for a queen size mattress...

I'm not sure if life is ever really carefree; but there is always joy in simply breathing. Thank you so much for the welcome.

Car-free, not carefree. :-) But I hope that's more carefree than the alternative!
