Glad you are doing better, Catrin. I'm surprised that the kettle-belling doesn't aggravate this arthritis, but you didn't mention it, so I am guessing it doesn't?

The snatch can hurt when it is flaring because of where the handle of the kettlebell hits when I catch it at the top. My shoulders don't allow volume snatching anyway so it isn't an option. No problem with the jerk, long cycle (both are competition lifts), or push pressing/pressing Of course those are just the over-head lifts, and nothing lower than that bothers me at all. I am really fortunate, all things considered. I am thankful that even when it is flaring that I can still do my preferred style of workout - and this is the first time that I've not had to give up yet another activity I love due to an injury or arthritis. Even more of an encouragement to LISTEN to my coach so I don't over-do things.
