    Short Tights are Back!

I know there are several of us here who prefer to run in short tights and have been coming up dry the past few years.

I visited my LRS yesterday and short tights are back in style! I wound up with this pair of Mizunos. I also tried on short tights from Pearl Izumi (just a little tight on me, plus I wasn't a fan of the narrow waistband) and Nike (the fabric wasn't supportive enough for my taste). They also had short tights from Sugoi and I think Moving Comfort as well. All of them have pockets, some more than one, which I know is a requirement for some of y'all. The Mizunos I got have a zippered back pocket plus one of those little foldover pouches inside the front waistband.

I like those OakLeaf! I don't like short traditional running shorts, but I like short tights. Trying to make up my mind what I might wear for competition later this year. I am thinking about these from the Ice Chamber Girls (a women's professional KB competition team), but I think they would also be great for running. They ARE quite short, which is what I am hesitating about, but they appear compressive and would be nice. Probably no pockets though, but the price is a bit lower than some of the short running shorts I've seen.

How long are they, in inches? I love Mizuno, both shoes and clothing seems to fit me well. I mostly wear capris to the gym, but, on me, they are a bit long.

Well, measuring down the medial leg seam from the center butt seam is 8.5", but since they're gusseted I think they spec just a little bit shorter. They fall about mid-thigh on me.

As I thought, once I put them on and measure from center crotch to hem, it's 7.5". Long enough that they won't ride up my adductors (no leg grippers).

Those look intriguing. I'm starting to find I don't care for running shorts (they ride up), and I'd like a bit of compression. Yes, my bike shorts have spoiled me.
At least I don't leave slime trails.

I still have a hard time finding in stores, but luck out on line on a few sites. Just ordered a pair of nike not long ago, prefer the 7 inch or so inseam myself. Never on sale and never cheap!
