I didn't go very far, but my foot did not hurt during the run/walk. I will keep testing it. I did not run or walk up the steep hill, but tomorrow I will. I keep thinking about what it would be like to ride up it. There's two parts, the first is short and then it flattens out and then proceeds straight up for at least 1/4 of a mile. It looks dreadful!

It's murderiously hot and humid out there. 3 sweaty, slow miles. Love FL summer running! This time of year it's just a slog (slow jog). But now that the floors in the entire house are completed (new tile) and soon to have all my furniture (and kitchen) back to where it belongs, well I hope to at least be slogging more regularly!

I have been extremely remiss about posting, but I've managed to eek out 1 or 2 runs a week since my husband's accident. I don't know if I posted about it here or not, but he was in a motorcycle accident mid-May, shattering his lower leg. I've been his caretaker since then and on top of doing two jobs at work (and walking 3 dogs at least twice daily), I've not had much time. For the first 4 weeks, I've managed one longer weekend run per week (5 - 6 miles) and the past two weeks, I've added in a weekday 3 miler too.

On Monday, I start official training for my next half in October, so I'll have to figure out a way to be more consistent with my running.

Glad to see everyone getting in some running here and there, though!

Oh man GLC, sorry to hear about your husband. Speedy recovery to him.
