I can "crash" even when I am not riding a bicycle. Ugh!

I finally started going back to LifeTime Spin classes. So what do I do after the first one I attended? I went grocery shopping, came home, and tripped on the stairs while bringing up the groceries. I fell back on my head and went unconscious. When I came to, my SO was really concerned when I told him I didn't have a grandson. My grandson, born Dec 11, 2013, is all I talk about!!!
The ambulance was called and I was soon on my way to the ER

The cat scan showed I had no bleeding on the brain again, thank G-d, like I had in the bicycle crash two years ago. I seriously bruised a rib I had broken previously in the last bike crash. My left shoulder and upper arm hurt like crazy, too. Doctor said no physical activity for a week; he is afraid I could fall again!

See, I can wind up the ER even when I not riding a bicycle.

Once again, the fall was stupid and avoidable. I was trying to save steps by bringing up too many unbagged groceries at once.

Are you sure there isn't anything more to this? I don't mean to scare you, but this kind of thing happens to my mum sometimes because her balance center is damaged and it just malfunctions sometimes and she falls without even realising that she's falling. I strongly urge you to do some followup checkups just to be on the safe side.

Kajero, are you okay? I'm guessing you're talking about the same incident but didn't remember posting about it? I surely hope this didn't happen twice in two weeks, but the other isn't so great either. Take good care.

I did post twice and didn't remember it. I guess I am going to have some memory loss for a while. I think it is going to get better as I become more active.
