Yeah, that's my favourite scene from that show. I love the ending, where he gleefully switches from cold water to coffee, back and forth.

There was also a pretty awesome one where they made a huge microwave oven out of 6 jerryrigged microwaves in a shielded cupboard, thawed a frozen leg of lamb, and then "cooked" it by strewing electrical heaters and assorted appliances out over the floor and putting the leg of lamb on top for 3 hours.

The show ended a bit abruptly when the house burned down in one episode... I think they've sold the rights to the US now, so an English version will be out.

I'd rather see the Norwegian version with subtitles!!

Reminds me a bit of MythBusters, which is hugely popular and really awesome. Our 13 year old DS loves that show. I predict he will love this one, too!

Good grief. Only a guy would think of such crazy things. Very stupid but very funny.

And don't forget the first and the original help desk was a Norwegian. Skit developed by NRK. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pQHX-SjgQvQ
Then the brits BBC One copied something similar with http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kAG39jKi0lI

Bit of drift but I also happen to like dogs. "Breakfast at Ginger's"

    Enjoy all three videos.

I was hoping this thread was about the Norwegian Curling team pants.

Somehow that just seems like a fitting end

Yup, I think that was the plan all along, but it looked like it still took them a bit by surprise. They started a small fire in a pot of oil in the kitchen, and were going to demonstrate why you shouldn't throw water at it. Within about two seconds the ceiling was ablaze, there was some jerky filming and an authoritative voice off-camera telling them to get out of the house. Right now.

Is that where those pants come from!
