    Seems I can always CRASH!

    Feb 4, 2014:
It's winter and I don't ride my bicycle in winter. Well, if I can't crash my bike, it seems I have to crash something and wind up in the ER! I tripped on the stairs, fell, lost consciousness (only for a few minutes this time though), and wound up in ER! The doctors were afraid I could have re-injured the small bleeding area on the brain resulting from bicycle crash two years ago. The subsequent scan and medical exam negated this. I do have a swollen area on my scalp and part of one vein had decided to "butt" out in that area.

That's what one gets when one tries to carry way too many groceries up the stairs. Fortunately, I only fell from the second step from the bottom. It was such stupid and preventable accident. How hard would it have been to make two trips???

    Feb 5, 2014:
I am better today except for the horrible headache, sore bruised swollen lip, sore bruised rib, sore arm and slightly swollen righteye.
I know i will be ready for bicycle season though!

Oh no!!! My mom broke her neck tripping on a step while carrying in groceries (and her tailbone while XC skiing in our yard, and her elbow when she tripped on a parking stone). I am relatively more graceful than my mom, which says little. And my sister broke her collarbone in kindergarten while doing a somersault. We clearly need to be wrapped in bubble wrap!

    Hope you recover fast.
