This is very exciting. Now we need to start a social media campaign for NBC Sports to show that race...

Indeed. There have been women's races in conjunction with the Tour of California and they've gotten some TV time but not much. However they did show a decent amount of women's racing at the last Olympics, so there is hope.

My first thought was, what? A day? That's like throwing out bread crumbs.
And most of the (male) comments I just read on Facebook say the same thing.

Yeah, gotta say, I'm not impressed, either. "Let's just placate those little ladies and toss them a crumb. Something to entertain the crowds while they wait for the "real" racing..."

    Ladies,

Someone is circulating a petition requesting that US sports TV networks include coverage of women's races:

    http://www.change.org/petitions/univ...n-s-bike-races

For what it's worth, please consider signing and sharing. I'd love to get coverage of elite women's racing (road and cyclocross),

Wondering which country stand first in cycling competition this summer in Olympics 2020 in Tokyo. Hope US will be leading the position but let see who is the best.
Watch the Olympic online from home, stay home and stay safe due to Covid 19.
